Its seems that Samsung and Microsoft have been collaborating on creating a potential future innovation for how your gaming console, TV and room converge to create a more immersive gaming experience. The technology works by projecting scenes from the game you are playing onto the surrounding wall.

At the Samsung CES Keynote address, Microsoft demonstrated this new research project, that according Engadget, "uses a Kinect for a Windows camera combined with a projector". This technology "uses the appearance and the geometry of the room (captured by Kinect) to adapt the projected visuals in real-time without any need to custom pre-process the graphics."
