On March 15 2013, South African gamers will be able to get their hands on Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, the sequel to the "best selling sniper game of all time".
The game promises a "striking graphic environment" courtesy of the of the game's use of the newly developed CtyENGINE3 - 'CryENGINE®3 is the fastest high-end renderer in the world, with new features specifically designed for PC, Xbox 360™ and Playstation®3."- taken from the Crytek website. This follows hot on the heels of Crysis 3 that will use the same engine and is due for release on 19 February 2013. Interestingly enough, the original release date for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was end 2012, which would have put it ahead of Crysis 3, but I guess maybe there were some "high level discussions" had.
Sniper fans are also promised "more diverse sniper challenges; a rebuilt AI system and the thrilling “one shot; one kill” precision that made the original a huge hit" and "unparalleled levels of realism in weaponry, ballistics and environmental factors".
