Rule #18 of the Internet: One cat leads to another.

This is the story of my life.

I will be the first to acknowledge that I have a slight problem with Lolcat addiction. I've thought about this far too much and I recognise that there are 4 phases to the disease:

  1. You see a lolcat on the Internet and think "Oh, how sweet."
  2. You start going into lolcat websites and saving lolcats in a lolcats folder on your desktop.
  3. You base entire friendships around the trading of lolcats and your theme song is the ditty from "Keyboard cat."
  4. You find yourself writing articles about why there should be more cats in video games for your very serious and professional job.

Luckily, it seems that there are other folk that agree with me. I would like to introduce the Cat Brothers who have a suggestion for game developers: Put moar cats in all the things because of the exponential increase in popularity to be gained.

Endorsed by the Itty Bitty Kitty Commitee (OK, I made that part up), I really believe that all games could benefit from sticking in a few main characters of the feline persuasion. And also, the cats in the picture below look pretty official, thus adding credibility to this generalised statement. Developers listen up!
