The tenth
Video Game Awards hosted by Spike, was recently hosted with several interesting games trending in the “Best Of” in multiple categories.
In what can be described as a surprise to me and probably not as a surprise to just about everyone else,
The Walking Dead by Telltale Games landed the overall Game of the Year category. It didn’t stop there, though. It also walked away with Best Studio, Best Adapted Video Game and Best Downloadable Game. Also, Best Performance by Human Female
The other big winner this year was
Borderlands 2, walking away with a couple trophies including Best Shooter, Best Multiplayer, as well as Best performance by a Human Male.
Journey by Thatgamecompany also walked away with several awards including Best PS3 Game, Best Independent Game and Best Original Score.
Several notable titles also racked up some great awards, including
Dishonoured for best Action Adventure game,
XCOM: Enemy Unknown for Best PC Game and Persona 4 Arena for Best fighting Game. Halo 4 got Best XBOX and Best Graphics Awards
