I like a lot of others out there, I'm preparing myself for the onslaught of CoD players and those unfamiliar with the franchise that are going to be buying BF3. Here's just a few differences in thought between a CoD player coming to BF3 and a BC2 veteran...
A CoD Player thinks: "Woohoo, infrared is awesome!! All the baddies will be lit up and I'll just shoot the brightly lit people!!"
A BC2 Player thinks: "Wow, this is useless, I'm going to team-kill everyone!"
A CoD Player thinks: "Why is there a massive box in there? Maybe if I shoot it, it'll die "
A BC2 Player thinks: "Why is that fool shooting at the mcom?"
A CoD Player thinks: "Stop staring at me, freak!"
A BC2 Player thinks: "Dude, ammo (/ health) would be awesome right now."
A CoD Player thinks: "Where are all the bad guys?"
A BC2 Player thinks: "We're attacking, why is that guy lying prone at the first base when we're on the third set of mcoms."
A CoD Player thinks: "Oh my word, engineers have blowtorches! Die bad guys die!"
A BC2 Player thinks: "I'm happy that guys not in my squad."
A CoD Player thinks: "Yay, tanks are invincible! Why is mine moving so slowly?"
A BC2 Player thinks: "Your the gunner, get out and repair!"
A BC2 Player thinks: " If I sneak around and get behind them, I can reap the benefits by providing a good spawn for my guys."
A CoD Player thinks: "Where's this oaf going? They're right there! RPG time baby!"
A CoD Player thinks: "They're only two jets, I better get one while I can. "
A BC2 Player thinks: "And................................ Suicide!"
A CoD Player thinks: "If I stand still, no one will notice me, here."
A BC2 Player thinks: "Head Shot !"
A CoD Player thinks: "Why is everyone hiding, if I shoot that tank enough with my machine gun, surely the damage will add up and it'll die."
A BC2 Player thinks: "Why lord, why is TK off on this server??"
To conclude I'd like to say that I mean no offence by this article, I enjoy the occasional game of CoD as much as the next guy. Those who know me will know that I enjoy joking and kidding around whenever I can. I hope that at least a few that read this got a laugh or two out of it, as like most comedy, it comes from real life observations O_o
