Well, not just Battlefield 3, quite a few online games rely on quick reaction speeds. Here is a quick little test of your reaction speeds.
As a bit of benchmark, here is the score from NSD's Prokill who created the
popular AT4 kills video and Battlefield 3
Attack of Wall-E montage. The dude has skill.
Prokill: 5 Tries: 161.6 ms (see screenshot below)
And another: ASF's ltdabull, Head of Clan ASF, a real Battlefield veteran:
ltdabull: 5 Tries: 163.6 ms (see screenshot below)
According to
Humanbenchmark.com, "
The average (median) reaction time is 215 milliseconds, according to the data collected so far". So if out two test subjects are to be believed, you need to be faster than average to perform on an FPS / Shooter game.
Why not try the test yourself and see how you stack up against ltdabull and Prokill over 5 attempts and post your scores in the comments below, unless you are scared? I bet you anyone who gets a lower score that those two will not post a comment- prove me wrong.
You can see the full test data from the site
