MWEB GameZone is proud to announce that they will be hosting an Inaugural Dota 2 Cup in the upcoming weeks.
The event will be held over 49 days with 38 matches being played. The mode is set to be pool stages leading to double elimination knockouts. The event is structured for a minimum of 16 teams, any teams over and above this could possibly be catered for. The winning team will walk away with $125 in Steam credit and the first runner-up with $75 in credit.
The results of this event will be used for seeding of future MWEB sponsored tournaments.
Schedule - Registration closes: 08 July 2012, at 13h00
- Pool games: 09 July to 22 July 2012
- Knockout games: 23 July to 25 August 2012
- Finals: 26 August 2012, at 19h00
