Footage of Dragon Age: Inquisition has been leaked onto the internet. While sound wasn't that great you get an idea that the scope of this new game is going to be even greater than its predecessors. This game truly looks to compete with whatever Bethesda has planned for their Elder Scrolls universe.
We also get to see Inquisition's much improved combat system which includes both real-time fighting and tactical squad management. Like its the previous games teammates are also playable. Bioware also took time to show how much deeper consequences are in Inquisition. Main quests now have timeouts, and once your deadlines are passed the entire game universe is changed. It seems as if Bioware has been trying to improve and remove what made Dragon Age 2 unsuccessful while also using what made Dragon Age: Origins great. This is especially clear in the mix of gameplay types in the video.
The game was played on a Xbox One, and if this reflection of the Frostbite engine is anything to expect for the future, Mass Effect 4 will be looking mindblowing too.
Now stop your reading and whet those appetites, the third Age of the Dragon is on the way.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC in Q3 2014.
