As proud South Africans and Gamers, the team here at MWEB Gamezone would like to welcome you to take part in the Gamers-in-Beta (GiB) intiative, a
free online training program for those people who are interested in actively taking part in online multiplayer gaming.
We are also proud to announce the involvement of Nashief Hendriks (aka ltdabull) and Daniel Robb (aka LordRage), two very experienced members of the gaming community that will take the lead in managing and coordinating the GiB program on our behalf.
It’s also MWEB GameZone’s hope that many of the players that graduate through the training in GiB go on to take part in the competitive gaming arena in South Africa, thereby growing our competitive game play base. We all know that they more competition there is, the stronger our online gaming teams will become and soon we hope to be a force to be reckoned with in the global gaming arena.
To kick off the GiB Initiative, we will be launching training on one of the most popular online games, Battlefield 3 PC. We are looking at opportunities to extend this initiative to other titles and platforms in the near future.
Experience trainers will host 3 training sessions, the outline of the training is as follows:
Training session 1:
This is a basic training session covering movement, kits, weapons and initiation to game play. Players will have the opportunity to practice their newly learned skills in mock battles.
Training session 2:
Following from session 1, this training session is designed to give players more background and experience on the various match types and map variety.
Training session 3:
The last session focuses on advances tips and tricks that are employed by experience clan members. This session should be final preparation for taking part in your first online tournament, which we intend to host for all GiB players.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot skip training session – Only players that take part in session 1 will be invited to take part in session 2 and so on.
