Now Page back a few years when you've just started gaming, diving into the world of TK's and Teabag's, from GG's to OMG's... little was known, and hence you carried the title of a "Newbie"
Daunting as it was, you started exploring taking those baby steps first, growing in confidence daily. We all remember those days when playing was just for playing.
It's these moments Mweb Gamezone and =ASF= captured those feelings and started GIB (Gamers in Beta).
Fun and Laughter filled the first training session kick-off with a "Bang" followed by smoke, then a barrage of Newbie's letting loose on Metro, Once the confidence filled the map and everyone got down to business, you could actually see the in-game characters focused. Oh many pro gamers would be ecstatic if they had that level of focus on strats-sessions... WP Newbie's
Covered in Mud, we saw some really interesting moments when flanking manoeuvres was executed perfectly and proved an already valuable skill that was learned and we just knew the success of GIB has proven quality gaming prevailed the "unknown"
Having a few "To be remembered" moments we head off to our Second training camp, which saw a more in-depth reading of the game and it's gameplay, a trick or two demonstrated by teachers had the "Not-so-Newbie" chanting for more... After our onslaught in a squad deathmatch, we were ready to send these troops for field with Mortars and Medics, Scopes and Satchels... as a unit.
